Exploring AS5601 Position Sensor

Recently, I have been working with a sensor very closely for my project, the AS5601 position sensor, and loved the simplistic functioning procedure. It is not a very popular sensor but the company that built it made an excellent GUI for the operation.

Here are some basic details about the sensor-

The AS5601 is a magnetic rotary position sensor from AMS. It is an integrated Hall-effect-based sensor that provides a digital output to indicate the angular position of a magnetic field. The sensor features a programmable zero position, a linear output with a high resolution of 12 bits, and a wide magnetic operating range. It is designed to detect the angular position of a permanent magnet or an external magnetic field. The sensor can be used in a variety of applications such as motor control, robotics, and industrial automation, among others. Due to its small package, low power consumption, and high accuracy, it is a popular choice among engineers and designers.
